Chinese Law

There might be all sorts of issues to be dealt with by foreign businesses in customs clearance for their imported goods in China. Even though there is no set success formula, our firm recommends Australian exporters to consider to legalise all their documents and, in particular, invoices required for customs declaration prior to the landing of their goods.

There are still a large number of Chinese importers found by the Chinese Customs of presenting fraudulent supporting documents and invoices to minimize their import duty.  From our clients’ experience, the Chinese Customs is more prepared to accept the face value of legalized customs documentation without further investigation.

To assist Australian exporters to China, our firm has simplified the procedure of notarizing their customs clearance documentation.
